In the year of 2015, Xicheng District has output 6157 technologies with an increase of 13.1 percent year on year. The turnover of the output technologies has reached 15.81 billion yuan, up by 21.8 percent over the previous year. Xicheng District has also input 6232 technologies with a year-on-year increase of 18 percent. The turnover of input technologies has reached 24.75 billion yuan, up by 31.2 percent over the previous year.

In the year of 2016, Xicheng District has output 4901 technologies with a decrease of 20.4 percent year on year. The turnover of the output technologies has reached 24.91 billion yuan, up by 57.6 percent over the previous year. Xicheng District has also input 7641 technologies with a year-on-year increase of 22.6 percent. The turnover of input technologies has reached 35.84 billion yuan, up by 44.8 percent over the previous year.

In the year of 2017, Xicheng District has output 7105 technologies with an increase of 45.0 percent year on year. The turnover of the output technologies has reached 29.9 billion yuan, up by 20.0 percent over the previous year. Xicheng District has also input 5179 technologies with a year-on-year decrease of 32.2 percent. The turnover of input technologies has reached 12.97 billion yuan, up by 63.8 percent over the previous year.

In the year of 2018, Xicheng District has output 6659 technologies with a decrease of 6.3 percent year on year. The turnover of the output technologies has reached 20.88 billion yuan, down by 30.2 percent over the previous year. Xicheng District has also input 6545 technologies with a year-on-year increase of 26.4 percent. The turnover of input technologies has reached 32.74 billion yuan, up by 152.4 percent over the previous year.

In addition, the popularization of science in the district has taken community as the carrier, forming a new pattern of extensive social participation.
